Trains have an almost mystical appeal sometimes to both old... 

and young...

and railroad history can be surprisingly absorbing.

During the off-season we take down our museum exhibits and become a community and cultural center, hosting everything from blues concerts (Guy Davis, Leon Redbone, John Hammond, Spencer Bohren, Tom Rush, Wolfman Belfour, and many more -- check out  Blues at the Depot later)...

to popular wedding receptions (this is a great place for them, too).

This beautiful former station is elegant and ornate both inside...

and out.

we welcome thousands of visitors each year to a wonderful museum.

Seeing modern places a century ago can be like stepping back
in a time machine -- a new look at an unseen past that's been there all along.  

We've even been excited to bring out steam train visits once or twice.

William Clark camped just a few miles from here, we're an official site on the Lewis and Clark interpretive trail, and we have presented several Lewis and Clark special exhibits (the bicentennial of the Clark party's passage on the Yellowstone is July 15, 2006.
