COMMUNITY EVENTS

The Depot Center supports itself during the off-season by providing a beautiful site for many community events -- wedding receptions, holiday parties, conferences, concerts, lectures, and fundraisers.  We can accommodate up to approximately 200-375 people, depending on floor layout. Beneath its ornate historic Northern Pacific tiling and variable lighting formats, the Depot is a great convention center and meeting hall. This helps offset our yearly operating budget (a third of which goes to building repair and upkeep) and brings great events to Livingston in benefit to the entire community.

With its attractive, visible, and highly centralized location, the Depot has become a popular and traditional gathering place for community events that in past have included things like these:  .

  • Holiday Symphony of Sounds
  • Film and Economic Development Conference
  • Cards Night at the Depot
  • Depot Christmas Tree Trimming and Songfest 
  • Hospice Tree of Life Program and Tree-Lighting Ceremony
  • Rotary Chocolate Lovers' Party
  • 50th anniversary party
  • Depot Gala New Years Eve Ball
  • Depot Railroad Swap Meet

THE LIVINGSTON DEPOT CENTER

The Livingston Depot Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to enriching the lives of residents of Livingston and surrounding, communities, and tourists to the Yellowstone area by (1) restoring, preserving and protecting the historic Northern Pacific depot, now a community cultural center--The Livingston Depot Center; (2) presenting and promoting the visual and performing arts, culture, history of the Yellowstone Region, and educational programs in the arts and humanities; and (3) promoting community involvement, tourism and economic development through the operation and use of the Livingston Depot Center.
